The Kafue River, Zambia
near Kafue town

 


Nanduba River,
a tributary to the Kafue, dry although the wet season has recently ended. Subject to flash flooding which has damaged the road bridge - this is a common problem in southern Zambia.



Magoye River
towards the end of the wet season.

Chihana village near Pemba. Providing a hedge for local people against drought for 60 years
